Needle nose pliers shouldn’t be used for any brute force techniques but are often useful for smaller fasteners, tight spaces and manipulating spring clips. As with Combination pliers the jaws have a serrated surface and usually a cutter ahead of the pivot point.

• Look for thick comfortable handles.

• Unbranded items may have weak serrations.
